For those members who are not able to attend the meeting you are able to cast an absentee ballot. Once all nominees are established a ballot will be attached and available below. Please print off the attached ballot, make your selections and mail or drop off your ballot to the KMIC in a sealed envelope addressed to our Secretary Sheryl Dazcka before 6:30pm on the 23th. Votes from all members will be counted at the start of the meeting while the Directors and Coordinators provide their monthly updates and the BOD votes on the proposed 2018-2019 budget. We will be announcing the newly elected Officers, Directors and Coordinators soon after the updates have been provided.

The 2018 April WCYHA BOD Meeting and Spring Election is scheduled for April 23th, 2018 starting at 7:00pm at the KMIC. As a Member of the WCYHA your family is entitled to one ballot to vote for each of the open WCYHA Board positions. Here is a list of open Officer, Director and Coordinator positions.

If you are interested in applying for one of the above positions we will be accepting applications and nominees up until April 9th, 2018. Once all nominees are confirmed, the WCYHA membership will be notified via email that all nominees are posted on the WCYHA website for your review. Included in the posting will be their letter of interest along with their resume/credentials. In addition to the election any by-law changes will be included in this announcement for your review. In accordance to our by-laws, Section 1 Article VIII states “These by-laws may be amended or repealed by a three-fourths vote of members present at any regular or special meeting of the members of Washington County Youth Ice Skating Association, Inc., provided that the meeting notice shall have contained a description of all proposed changes”. To submit your application for one of these BOD positions please send your letter of intent along with a resume and/or description of your credentials to me no later than April 9th, 2018 to email@example.com. Additional nominees may be accepted up to the actual election on April 24th but these candidates will not be recognized on the absentee ballots. For those members who are not able to attend we will be providing an absentee ballot that will be posted on the website. This will not be available until all applications have been received by the 9th. Directions for submitting absentee ballots will be provided on the form.

Serving on the WCYHA Board of Directors is a commitment and in return your volunteer hours (TBD/season) will be satisfied if you are elected and meet the requirements of the role. The WCYHA prides ourselves in being owners of the Kettle Moraine Ice Center and it does require our membership to volunteer their time and skills to maintain our operations. Even though volunteer hours are satisfied all members of the BOD are highly encouraged to volunteer above and beyond their duties of BOD position.
