Ice Lynx call for revenge win in locker room - get it

With the locker room getting fired-up pre-game, the players all agreed this was their change to get their revenge for their first loss of the season to the Elmbrook Eagles at home 1-0.

It was on the Elmbrook Home ice at The Ponds of Brookfield where the Ice Lynx 10U girls enacted their revenge.  Playing from behind most of the game, the Ice Lynx took advantage of 2 goals late in the game to come up with the 3-2 win.  Stellar defense and a goalkeeping performance that saw 10 saves made the difference and the Lynx were able to hold on to their 3-2 lead, and advance their record to an overall 3-2.

Goals from the Ice Lynx came from Bryn Schairer, (1st period) Asst from Brinley Fortney,  and third period (unassisted), and scoring her first as a Squirt (10U) Harper Vlasik. Harper's goal (unassisted) tied the game and sparked the charge that led the Ice Lynx to victory.

The Ice Lynx takes on the Lake Country Girls Coop from Arrowhead next weekend on Saturday November 23rd at 12:00 PM. This will be the first match-up for these two teams this season.
